Can't sort in tracking window.
 

Hiya all,

Have the new original tracking window, and some mix and match of other mods... and can't sort by name in tracking list.

I have no tracking mod, but seems the mods i own interfere in some way with the capacity to click on the name to get the list sort...

Whatever... many thanks to those of you who could help a poor scout ;)

Check that the table header AbsorbsInput is set to true.
We shipped a version of the tracking window that had it set to false and that meant the header didn't get the mouse down to trigger the sort.

Copied the file in my custom ui rep...

Passed the table header AbsorbsInput to true...

And... no sort available ;(

btw there's five other AbsorbsInput set to false... some page and some text one... should i check them to true ?

See if setting the table header GetsInput="true" helps.
That's one thing that jumped out at me.

If not, drop in the default one.

Ok.

Jyust setting the table header GetsInput to true did the trick. I can now click on name and get the track list sorted.

BUT the sort order is by mob color ;(

It's supposed to be in alphabetical order.

And... don't get me wrong. It IS the default xml. althrough the default FRENCH one.

SOE said in a previous patch note that the tracking window should now be sortable... iand i just ask how to do this.

In the tracking window:
By default, the list is ordered by proximity.
If you press the "name" header, the list will sort by name.
If you press the "name" header again, the list will reverse sort.
If you press the header a third time, it will return to proximity sort. (new)
Repeat.

We had a bug (not sure how long ago) where we turned off sorting.
Basically the header stopped accepting input. (GetsInput="false")

I'll make sure the international releases have the latest eq2_mainhud_tracking.xml.

The sorting issue looks like it is a code bug for all locales. It is sorting by "name" which includes the con color first. I'm guessing we have the same problem in a couple of other windows too.

Here's the FRENCH tracking window. ( bug reported by many scouts on french server ) ( confirmed to be the same on german server ).

Name not clickable.

With you'r help i made it clickable.

One click : Sort by COLOR of mob.
Second Click : Sort by COLOR of mob. reverse order.
Thiord click : Sort by proximity.
