Skills Window

Since the skills window was changed a few patches ago mine has been bugged. I open it and see the new catagories but the boxes where skills would be listed are blank in every tab. Petitioning has not helped. The best response I got was that I was probably using a non-compatible mod.

Well, I use a lot of mods but don't recall ever downloading one for the skills window (as I rarely ever looked at it). Checking my UI mod directory I can't find any file that seems to pertain to it (and most are readily identifiable by name).

Has anyone else had this issue or does anyone know of a mod out there that might effect it? Alternatively... is there a mod out there I can try downloading to correct the issue?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: Sorry folks. I just found this thread (http://www.eq2interface.com/forums/s...ead.php?t=3540) that seems to deal with this issue, although the solution proposed there (copying the EQ2UI.xml from the Default folder) is a little intimidating to me since the two are so different when i compare them because of the variety of mods I'm using. I'm afraid I'll get the skills window working but screw up 90% of my other mods. Hrmm... well guess I'll give it a try when the servers come back up.

Your best bet would be to not copy it over but to merge those two, so the one in your mod folder contains all the includes that both files had before.

I never was able to get this working even after trying to merge the two files. Anyone else have any ideas? Not having a skills window is a relatively minor annoyance, but still... it would be nice. :)

Need to wait for server up to test it, but I think that thread will help me get it fixed. Many thanks!
