EQ2map Addign Commandline
 

Hi,

just tryign eq2map for the first time and noticed that its loading the eula twice again. a fix for this was to use this as the shortcut.

"C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II\EQ2.exe" /env:usmain /lang:en_US

however eq2map just loads

"C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II\EQ2.exe"

anyway of changing it to the one i need?

yes there is, i cant find my post on it either so dont feel bad about not being able to find it.

basically oprn up the eq2map_config.cfg file in the eq2map-updater directory and then add an option with the optionname "CommandLineArgs" and then the optionvalues as the command line arguments are.

example:
<ConfigValues>
<OptionName>CommandLineArgs</OptionName>
<OptionValue>/env:usmain /lang:en_US</OptionValue>
</ConfigValues>

no more 2 eulas!!! :nana: was annoying to press 2 times the same window :mad: now only 1 :)

Thank you for the quick reply ill get right on it,

and i found that eula trick in the eq2 forums when i was on trial of the isle, only once i upgraded to full game did i get this problem and then spent 1 hours tring to find it in the forums again.

lets hope my maps show up this item now :)

on another note, i foudn otu why eq2map was nto working for me,

i read about ti effecting the eq2.ini file and i checked it, it read

r_aa_blit 1cl_ui_skinname EQ2MAP
cl_ui_subdir UI/

after changing it to;

r_aa_blit 1
cl_ui_skinname EQ2MAP
cl_ui_subdir UI/

it worked ok.
