WTB a raid window for healers
 

I have no idea how to make it but i know what i would like to see as a healer in the raid window. :D
I would like a clear background with enlarged healthbars and with moveable individual windows. Basicly a combo of the mods that are there now. An auto assist on that wouldnt be bad either but not sure how hard that is.
Hope someone reads this and helps me out :)

I like where you're going with this!

Couple of requests:

1. All 4 raid windows do not hold their location once set and you re-log. Can the windows be made to remeber their last location?

2. I noticed that their are no window settings avail, ie opacity, locking. Can they be added?

I've attached a screen cap of the changes i've made. Color and border only atm.

Hmm, excellent points indeed!
I don't believe the individual window locations can be maintained "saved after logout" as they are part of a "volume set" that automatically places the window either from the Top>Down then Left2Right or any combination of that saved within the volume properties set. (Doesn't look like its part of the saved window placements file either but I'll certainly play around with that part more to make sure.
I'll check on the individual window opacity settings as that certainly sounds feasible.

I went with the colors of the HO Icons for background opacity but honestly not very happy with it. Any suggestions there? I'm not much for colors in there at all but need some way to distinguish between raid groups. Perhaps window titles? I don't know maybe colors are better... hehe

Wow that was fast WOoot :nana: the colors are a bit intense but They are at least more contrasting than the silly colors they came with. love the large healthbars. I agree with lolly on the window settings though. But over all much better :)

Any news on getting the widow settings added?

Yes in between normal enhancements of the ThorUI and research in developing the installer further, i am indeed continuing to look into possible raid window enhancements.

Unfortunately either the enhancements you mention in your earlier post can't be done due to the set being on a volume page or I'm just not knowledgeable enough to do it yet. Probably the later... :o

Right now i'd like to use the frame set you have in your screenshot and i'm also looking into not using a color for a background at all as it looks much more professional without it.

If you have interest in pursuing my work further please don't ever hesitate to take any EQ2 modding I do and continue on with it. That goes for anyone out there as well. :)

i like the colors to be honest ...
if you don't want them quite so brilliant, can't they be made more transparent ? or a subdued color .. say a different intensity of red .. yellow bla bla ? make them pastel so to speak ?
