Adding a single ui piece?

Hi, I am having problems using individual ui pieces I have dloaded from here. I just want to use a new experience bar along with a new group piece. I have made a subfolder under c:\program files\sony\everquest II\ui\subfolder
and have unzipped the new ui pieces into this folder, and then created a eq2.ini folder with cl_ui_subdir UI/
cl_ui_skinname subfolder
The default ui continues to load though. Any suggestions? I am also using eq2map auto updater if that helps, and have tried running the auto updater, then unzipping the new ui pieces into the c:\program files\sony\everquest II\ui\subfolder with no luck. Also I made sure the files are in their proper places, there were no files required to be in an images subdirectory.

Any help much appreciated.

I have had the same issue, i named mine test, made the text file as i was told, yet the default one continues to load.

Edit : Ahha ! I think i have found the cause for my problem, and it is that eqmap UI us set to load when i log in, not test. Time to see what happens when i put all the eqmap info in a test folder

don't move eq2map, jsut move the pieces into the eq2map folder.

or if you go into the options window of the updater you can pick which ui folder for it to update to, and when you choose one it will automatically update your eq2.ini file to have that directory set to load. you can pick subfolder and it will update to that directory and set our eq2.ini file to that directory.
