West-East zones wrong background at times
 

Sometimes I find that I get the west background with the east waypoints when i'm zones with west and east map parts (happens the other way round too).

Happened in Ant, Ferrott, EL and RV.

Sometimes I also find the waypoints from a previous zone being there in addition to the zone i'm in (most noticably EL and Zek).

Its random and happens enough times in a gaming session to be very annoying. Any idea on how I can fix it?

It's not random, it happens every time your map is open and you cross an east/west boundary.

Same thing happens if you go from SH2->SH1 or such with it open.


If you open the map and cross the boundary in the opposite direction, then close the map and go back to the other side, it should be fine when you open it.

do you both have zonx's fetish mod or his zone selector?

Aye, I have a full Nightfall Fetish UI skin.

Is there an easy fix?

FetishMaps and the zone-selector dropdowns, yes.

The drop downs dont always fix the problem, end up with things the oposite way round.

Cant see Ferrott in the drop downs, and I have to select the map every time i close and open it then...

unless it was correted i know the drop down box selector add on can cause this problem. perhaps zonx can comment on it.

I'm having the same problem. It doesn't happen all the time. A reboot fixes it, but sometimes annoying. I still use the Fetish mod even if it does cause a little problem. It's worth it not to have the map take over the whole screen.

This is a bug that is related with his dropdowns, yes. And it occurs 90% of the time if the map window is open while zoning. To fix this, he added a Set button that is to the right of the dripdowns. If the proplem ever occurs, then you just select the right map from the dropdown, and press the "S" button that is at the very right bottom of the map.
