scrambled UI

The screen in my UI (tyjae/perdition steel) is messed up. By this I mean the various windows are scattered all over the screen in no particular order when I log in. I remember in EQ1 how I would just rename a custom window-positioning file as the character I wanted to use the UI for, but I'm aware of no such functionality with the UI I downloaded. Any advice?

They "should have" provided a "servername_charactername_eq2_uisettings.ini" file that you would copy to your main "EverQuest II" directory and rename sername and charactername to your info. You should see some similar file in there already as they are created when you first log in with a character.

If they didn't you could contact them and ask them to provide one.
Or you could go get mine: ThorUI ;)

Hope this helps,

Well in the Original Perdition I have 2 of those files and also in the two other version's those files can be found, Either outside of the UI folder or inside but they are there..

server_charname_eq2_uisettings(1280-1024).ini

I think the give away in the file name could be the 'uisettings' part hehe :p

Anyways you need to rename it to somthing like this,

unrest_tess07_eq2_uisettings.ini

And place it in the main eq2 folder
