modifying map window

I posted this in Eq2map forum with no results so i figured i'd try it here

Ok.. So i just really started into the UI modification, well kinda. Anyway. I am using FetishMaps 3.4 with the Talyns Plugin and the MiniMap window. However i wanna change the Titlebars to match the rest of the Bars in my UI. Everytime i change them, they look and work great in the UIBuilder, but once i get in game, they don't autoload maps anymore unless i update via the autoupdater. Now that is where the problem begins.. Once i update the maps, my window no longer functions properly whatsoever.. It will autoload maps, however the minimize button doesn't work, and when using the Talyn's Plugin, the map is much larger then the window?? any ideas what causes this or what i need to do to make it work properly? Thanks in advance

Moved to XML modification help forum.

The map's main XML is set at the size of the default map window. When it's loaded with custom skins, it is resized via scripts in the Backdrop file. Not taking these scripts into account when sizing everything will cause this problem.

Try this: Before making the map window visible, remove the OnShow scripts on the main map window. When altering the titlebar and such, make sure you have everything with the right spacing and PackLocation so it will move where it's supposed to when the window is resized.

That's all I can suggest at this point. I ended up re-adjusting everything with Notepad for the Mook skin.
