Increase zoom out distance
 

Is there a way to increase how far you can zoom out into 3rd person? Thanks

Well there is a slider in the in-game options :)

I thought there was a eq2.ini setting to increase it some?

Where is it in the game settings?

SOE recently added a slider to the options window that controls that ini setting. You can't get any more distance with the ini setting than with the slider.

do you access this from an ingame menu or from options at character select screen?

sorry, I thought you meant more than the games maximum.


as for where to access it, I allways change it through the game, under options.

In-game... Game Options window (Alt+O). Forget which tab its under, prbly Interface.

/ics_maxcameradistance 10 if you can't find the option
