I had that problem before as welll. You need to delete the following file:

Delete: eq2ui_newcharscene.html

That should do the trick.

Thanks kam, you helped me out a lot too.

Well, not necessarily. You can also just change the size from 1024x786 to 1280x1024 etc

I centered up the logo and the zonebar on my version of it ... Funny I have not seen it do that with the char screen likes

I found that file in the "Default" folder, but it was a .xml not a .html and it wasn't in the file I created, and when I try to delete that file, my whole UI disapears  And I don't have that file in my custom folder. Where do you find that .html file?

Oh you're right, sorry. It was eq2ui_newcharscene.xml. I was coding websites all afternoon before I read that site and it just flew with me. :)

Also, if you're using the default UI, it should not be doing that. The default UI should be precisely that; default. It should be exactly like SOE's version that you download each time there is an update.

If you're having problems with the default UI, then I can't help much.

But, if you're using a custom UI, make sure that your eq2.ini file has the correct folder listed, and that all the modifications you want to use are in that folder.

Good luck.

in that case, yeah. Delete it, and then run the patcher, the game should install a new version

I deleted that file and don't have it anymore, the problem still persists, what I did was re install all custom UI one by one again and it looks like that full function zoning has a compatibility problem with one of the start butttom mods (don't remember exactly wich one it was) so I just chanched the start button mod for another one and it worked fine.

Thanks for the help.
Good Luck!
