How can I change Button Colors?

Hello everyone, quite new to this so not sure if it's possible....

Using Jaxel's inventory mod, I made a couple adjustments that I have been searching for. Being new to this kind of thing it's VERY sloppy

The first Screenshot is of the Inventory in it's Minimized form.
The purpose is to have -
- 2 Activateable slots,
- 2 free Inventory slots to hot-swap Activateable items quickly,
- 2 Ring slots so I don't have to open the Inventory to rebuff myself
- a Button that Maximizes it

I realize it's very sloppy, as this is my first stumbling attempt at this.

This is the Screenshot of the Maximized Inventory, you can see where I moved the boxes from, as well as the Min/Max buttons which I inserted.

I hate having the Buttons be black, or I'd love to change them to reference one of the Button styles that EQ2 uses, I just have no clue how to do either.

Thanks for all your help :o

I don't understand your question. They already look like they use the standard background for buttons...

When I just use Insert > Button, the Button itself is plain black.

How do I either,

- Change that black color
or
- Reference an image somewhere that I'd prefer the Button to look like

Look at the object properties for the button... there a few ways you can do this... Either change the color values... change the opacity... Or have a look at the Style property and see where it points to and change it.

Thanks Laff, following those hints I disabled the Limit Properties box for the Buttons, and a whole world of properties became visible.

BackgroundColor was one of them, and did the trick!

Thanks

Kool... :)

Have a look at a few mods in the downloads area that use there own "styles" one good example that springs to mind is the socials mod by Ger... If you have a look at that and experiment a bit you will soon be making your own.
