Infinite Zoom Out
 
Any way to have the zoom out in third person view infinite or alot more than it is now?

Just wanted to ressurrect this thread in the hopes that something has changed that will now allow us to do some sort of ini/xml file change to allow zooming further away from your character.

I'd love to see this also. I play in 3rd person 100% of the time and I like seeing my surroundings. :)

stiill isnt possible...i wouldnt expect it either with the way eq2 likes to keep everything half-nerfed hehe

Maybe when testing it when you zoomed out too far you could see through walls or something like that so they probably limited it to what it is now.

*edit* or around corners, ect

I have searched through the command/setting list and cannot find anything that says "external camera distance" or "zoom" to me. Sorry.

or any number greater then 10

to see through walls, try /max_load_radius -999999

then to reset your load radius so you do not fall through the world, try /max_load_radius 999999

Just remeber, do not run through the zone with a -999999 load radius. Load radius resets when you restart/start EQ2.

I am sure the max you can go is 20 , I can recall messing with this quite some time ago :p
