Missing Visible Buff Timers on Maintained Window after 4/20/05 Patch
 

I noticed today that all of the Visible Buff Timers are missing from my Maintained Spell Bar window (made by Taco-Man). The Names of the Spells still show up but the Visible Buff Timers do not. I think they may have either broken something in the Client or ServerSide. As the timers no longer appear on screen.

Has anyone else seen this abnormality?

Same with my maintained window mod.

Its nothing with the code checked it back and forward.

Looks like SoE.. Broke something?!?! Who would have thought?

Funny I dunno if the core code for my mod is any different to all the others but mine's still working fine..... For once hehe ;)

Where might we be able to download your mod laffs?

Does your window show the spell duration text? I can't find anything but your laffs_alt_perdition UI, and that doesn't look like the maintained spell effects window has any text display on it...

Erm oops sorry guys...

It was that last post that made me re-read the first one I thought the tooltips were broken..... Then it just dawned on me about the "visible" part meaning you got that info on display all the time..

You are right mine not broken cause it dont show that info.. just tooltip..... I will go back into my corner now and shut up :)

So has anyone heard of a fix soon for the broken buff timers since LU7?

Checked on LU#8 on test and it is still broken.....

I dunno if you mean a work around, or if you mean when SOE is gonna fix it. Heh. Doesn't seem like they have done it for P8 on test. *shrug* For now, still broken

Dog gone it SOE.. Fix what is BROKE first then add new content. ie: Fish flying out of water (tho it is kinda funny), BUFF TIMERS!!!!, Female Sitting (or lack of there of) graphic bug.

Someone let them know? Used to be they'd check here (well over in the dev area) once in a while....

It's been /bug'd at least once, by yours truly, so they do know :)

So far still no word on a fix for the missing visible buff timers I guess. I really miss those. I HATE having to mouse over to see how long a buff has left. And I don't care bout my permanent buffs either, but the ones that need to be refreshed every 6 mins or so..THOSE NEED to have their timers avail to be displayed without mousing over. Pretty hard to mouse over while in mid battle of a grp of mobs. GRR FIX IT SOE. Please :)
