Market Window: Frequently used searches

I was wondering if anyone could help me get this idea off the ground. I frequently search for several sets of "watch for this" items. I run through these same searches every time I hit a broker. After seeing the QuickSearch function that Quib added to the store window, I started thinking it would be great to have like 10 or so buttons that I could set to execute these searches.

For example: Button1 would have the parameters to search for (ItemName=Ebon, ItemType=Misc, MaxPrice>2p). Button2 would have (ItemName=Adept, MaxSkill=orange). Etc.... Click the button and it would run Quib like code to set all the search parameters and kick off the search.

When I started playing around I initially just added some new tiny buttons at the bottom of the market screen, but as the idea grew I thought perhaps it would be better to have the frequently used search buttons on a tab behind the main market window to allow for enough room. After looking at the code to make functional (key word there) tabs, I realized I was out of my league.

I'd have no problem editing the xml to set the search parameters once I have a working example. If I understand the mechanics correctly (and I'm fine with this), these searches would have to be hard coded in the XML since there's really no way to write out new saved xml of the fly. It would have been way cool if Sony made it so we could make a "Save Selections As Macro Button", but I think I'm just dreaming now.

I'm currently using the Mookish Compact Broker Window by Deathbane. If someone wanted to add it to another mod I'd either adapt to a new one or plagerize it back into the Mookish one.

Thanks in advance!

Interesting, this could be done using my HTML window's bookmark approach. 1 custom dropdown with the datasource for it as a seperate <include...> file for easy editing.

Hmm... maybe I'll add this.
