Graphics format?
 

I wanted to start tweaking some of the graphic files for the spell/ability icons, but I'm not familiar with the format. (.dds)

Any hints, clues, conversion tools, etc?

whats the advanced settings that are required for EQ2 to read these files? Bugs the hell outta me when it doesnt work cuz my save settings are incorrect!

I just wanna make some baaad mods like the rest of you!:)

dxt3 or 5 will usually work

ok...looks like it has to be a square... 256x256 512x512 etc...im still trying to get this to work out lol

what i ended up doing to get this thing to save in all the correct advanced options was opened up an existing dds that i knew worked (comes in defualt ui) and threw my pic on top of the old one, then saved it. That worked out great!
