Error Getting File List:....unexpected token...
I got this msg:
Error Getting File List: This is an unexpected token. The expected token is 'WHITESPACE'. Line 1, position 63. What's wrong? |
Hm, never seen this error before.
It sounds like the auto-updater is having trouble getting the list of files to check for updates. I'm having no trouble updating from 2 very different computers, but they share the same internet connection, so it may be a download error on your system/ISP. Have you run the auto-updater multiple times and seen this error consistently? Quib |
Thx for the reply...problem solved
Thx for the prompt reply.
I turned off proxy in IE and updater is working :) |
for us (not me of course *cough cough*) that arent so savvy, where do you go to turn off proxy?
|
To turn off a proxy server.
In the windows control panel double click Internet Options Click the Connections tab in the Internet Prroperties Window Then Press LAN Settings. Under Proxy server there is a check box labeled: Use a proxy server for your LAN. Uncheck it to turn it off and hit OK. Then hit OK. |
