Collectors edition description
 

I when to gamestop, when to work, now I’m back, and I got a collectors edition. It is very impressive. It’s a super thick (like 2 starter kits) tin box lined with felt. The box this pretty platinum/brushed aluminum color and would look at home in a glass display case. It has the eq2 logo raised up on the front and has a nice looking elvish border. On the top and bottom side of the box it has "where adventure comes alive". The box hinges open.

The first thing you find inside is a black pouch with the eq2 logo stitched into it. Inside that is a plastic pouch with an impressively heavy gold colored coin in it, and a tiny certificate of authenticity
On the coin is basically the scenes from the starter box one side with Lucan the other with Antonica.

After the pouch you get a cloth map of Norrath. Mine smells of paint. I mean when I first opened the box I was hit by a whoosh of paint smell from this map. It looks like its been through some wear and tear. You got 8 islands on the map: everfrost, the enchanted lands, lavastorm, zek, refuge, D'lere, karan, and the feerrott. At the bottom it says "as charted by HASTEN BOOTSTRUTTER". and it's has the usual sea monster/boat sprinkled around the ocean.

After the cloth map you get a poster map. One side is Freeport the other is Qeynos. These are high quality prints of the in game maps, sewn together.

Then you get about 8 little ad cards for nvidia, p4, kingston, eqrpg, ect.

Then there's 2 books, one is a manual, the other is an art book, both of them are your normal game manual thickness.

Finally you get to the box the dvds are in. This thing is awesome. it looks like an old school fairy tale book. It's red hardback "book" (the side even has stacked pages printed on it) in all black is the everquest 2 logo on the front and spine and the cover has this nice hardback texture on it. its cool cause its sooooo convincing

inside you have FOUR disks. a soundtrack, dvd 1, dvd 2, and a bonus disk. the 2 dvds have vox and naggy on them.

Dude wicked description. I cant wait til this thing comes in. For me, hopefully tomorrow but most likely Wednesday.

I called gamestop like 3 times to verfy that my CE would be in stock. They stated that they order enough to cover all pre orders. If not im raising hell. Im honestly thinking about calling in sick damn work.

Man...........I'm so happy i got the EQ2 CE! It's ganna be great. Hope mine comes in, I had SOE send it to my work. Have fun all and Hope to see you guys online! Peace! Homies! :) :D

If you still play EQ2 or Planetside it makes the SOE All Access pass even more worth it. I think its 21.99 for the all access pass. Justy wish SWG was under that pass too.
