Auto Resize of window : Is this possible or not?
While I love taco-man's Maintained Spells: Name/Duration Text + 2/3 size Icon
(http://www.eq2interface.com/download...o.php?id=3621), if I would like to put lots of buff come up, it will create bigger "no click" or "can't click through" zones because of the size. I wonder if it is possible to code makes this window auto resize window itself when new buff came in? And auto shrink when the buff fade. Thank you in advance for any information. |
it is almost certainly possible using the onshow and onhide events, its just a matter of someone doing it, i would do it but i always have the same # of maintained spells up (im a bard). if nobody does it i may eventually do it but it wouldnt be any time soon (most likely at least a month from now or when they add the same dynamic data for effects that maintained has.

It would be nice feature to have :) |
This is a good idea. I will work on this. I have done it with my Ehlric_group window (see beta section) and it WOULD be a good feature to have for spells, maintained and other

I have made some myself now.
All original credit to Findarato : http://www.eq2interface.com/download...fo.php?id=3745 Problem come up when I relog char : it make window large. It comes back to normal as you hit some buff but willing to make this not happening. Can anyone help me? |
I can't seem to find an answer to this either. Due to the fact that the data is only sent the maintained window if a spell buff is activated/deactivated, this prevents the window from "knowing" how many maintained effects are actually present upon LOGON...therefore causing the window to log on as FULL size. It does resize properly once a buff is canceled or applied. But again, that is due the game sending data to the window and an update on the icons visible. This does not happen on login because the data was already there and saved on log off.
