Manage Attachments
 

Sorry to pick up on an old thread, Thought I would post the problem here as it is kind of related...

I am running Mozilla firefox 1.2 and since lastnight I have not been able to manage attachments in my posts or click on the smilies to insert them onto the form, I have reinstalled Firefox in case that was at fault, Situation still the same, Is it a website problem thats just cropped up? or do I have to pull firefox apart to fix this?..... Just trying to same myself some time if the problem is with the site Thanks

make sure it isnt blocking it with its popup blocker, manage attachments opens with javascript using the window.open() command which it will no doubt block to "protect" you from popups.

Next time please create your own thread. Split this off from the old thread.

Using FF:
posting- smilies work into the box
attaching mod/editing - smilies don't work into the box (I think same with the tag butons ,ect)

Yups I found that with the smilies on those pages also, Thats what made me think it was code here I did look at the source and seen it was javascript to open that window.... So I cleared out all the .js files outta my cache and after loading the site up 3 times its working again... They must have gotton messed / mixed up by somthing. Problem was at my end sorry ;)

Not telling you off, telling you so you know for next time. Every problem needs a new thread even if its similar to something else.
