Help to a newbui builder
 

Is it possible to build my own mod just by taking bits and pieces if mods and slapping them in a folder?

I am trying to get the averdpack mod to work but i need to replace some thinkgs like tha player window and the inventory window.

But when i find one i like and download it, and place it in the folder overwriting the old file and log back into the game, it dosent show up?

What would I have to do to build my own interface from scratch starting and just downloading pieces from the net? Do i have to start with certain files?
