Here's my edited log file for Cove of Decay. If you need map to keep from getting lost in there, you really shouldn't be playing the game, but hey....there wasn't a map, so I /loc'd it out. :p
Will submit some POI's once the map is created. |

I figured I'd give this a shot and was amazed at how incredibly easy it was to come up with the basic map. I have no artistic talent, so making it pretty really isn't my within my capabilites.
Was fun discovering I could at least make the map. :nana: |

Well, figured I'd give it a shot myself....was a challenge relearning Photoshop (I haven't used that in a while). Anyways, here's what I came up with. Hope it's all as it should be. I'm including all the files that were used as well as the final .dds file.

after entering this zone, alt tab and check this folder
eq2folder\cache\ioplans\ tell me what the last modified file was. This will give me the internal zone name. that way i can add it to our collection! good job on the map btw:) Thanks! |

I'm assuming their filenaming of these indicates zone transitions, correct? Like this one would be TS to CoD.....flip the zone names around, and it would the CoD to TS (I noticed there was a filename in there like that too).
So, the internal zone name is steppes_epic01_cove.iop, yes? BTW, haven't seen an update for this yet ;) |

Hmmm....just entered the zone today and the map isn't coming up. It just shows the red arrow showing where I am and the instructions on how to /log a new map. I checked the internal zonename file again and it is:
steppes_epic01_cove The map is in the map directory corrects it appears. Any clues? |
yea it needs to be added to eq2ui_mainhud_map.xml if it isnt. Quib is on vacation or something...he usually adds em.
