Error when updating
 

OK I have a "bare" fully patched EQ2, the first plugin I ever
installed is the auto-updater. It starts ok but I get an error
when it tries to update:

Error Getting File List:
Fjärrservern returnerade ett fel: (403) Förbjuden.
(remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden )

I am using the 0.97 updater.

Hmm...forbidden huh? That ones different...Taco-man, do you have any idea?

do you get the same error when you go to http://maps.eq2interface.com/POI_files/file_list.xml?

Found out what was wrong...
 

OK, got an error message on that file so I started checking the
firewall. The data type application/xml was not in the approved
list of safe content.

I think more people than I could potentially be affected by this problem
so it could be good to mention it in some kind of troubleshoting FAQ.

Now it downloaded ok so I will try it out :)

I got the same here - but not just with the update.
If i try to access the Website www.eq2interface.com I get the Error 403 - Forbidden and my IP-Adress.
I have a dynamic IP from inode.at - and every IP I get is getting 403 Forbidden.

Also tried shutting down the FW/AV-Programs - no changes.
Does anyone have an idea?
