Missing "Where I am" Icon
1 Attachment(s)
I do not know if this is either the UI author's issue or with EQ2Maps, but my map is not displaying the icon to where I am. I've removed the xml file related to the maps for my UI, but then I lose all the POI's, but again get my icon. The file referenced in the FAQ is in the correct directory.
I am using Nedra 0.99. EDIT: Nevermind, I got it working. I went ahead and checked the image that was included with the UI and it didn't match what I saw in another UI I had that worked. I copied the icon file over. P.S. Thanks for the great mod :D |
thanks for letting us know you got it working

Hold on bubba. Glad you got yours working... care to share what you did?
I installed the eqmaps thing and immediately noticed that my "where am I" arrow was gone and frankly was so pleased with the maps that I considered it a tradeoff. However, after getting lost in Nek forest, that arrow would be nice to get back. I have the 2 files in my folder that you referenced in your post thumbnail....the icon_map2 (and map3) .dds. In searching my folders, I have a *_map1 and _map2 in my default directory and a 2 and 3 in my custom folder. Is that where my problem is? |
OK finally got my "where am I arrow back". For those that experience the same trouble, I deleted the files in my custom/icon folder (see Aumelen's thumbnail for the location)...the updater reinstalled the map3.dds and that did the trick.
