Hello All,

Fairly new to this site or at least posting. I have a concern which breaks down to a question.

I preordered EQ2 and ran the first CD spec check, upon doing this my comp excels in all but RAM i have 511 as it says required is 512.

So my question is just this, how do you suppose EQ2 will run for me? And will the performance level be fair?

Thanks in advance,

Serath

511...do you have onboard video?
if you can afford it, i would get a gig of ram. especially if you plan on multitasking (e-mail, maps, alla's) while playing.

Nay i dont insomniac.

I am pretty illetrate (spelling?) when it comes to the comp but i am learning daily by good folks such as this board and friends.

I really dont plan on multi tasking in game. My main concern as of now will the comp push it? If it does how well does one suppose it will? I will get Ram eventualy but right now i am too tied up with getting my kids all there christmas presents tucked away. So again do you think it will push it?

Sincerely,

Serath

i need more info than just your ram..
CPU?
video card?

Yea, essentially post everything you know about your computer. If you post insignificant stuff we'll just skip it, but better that you include too much than too little if you want to really know how it will run. In my experience the "required" specs for games usually just allow them to run decently.

Download WCPUID. Install/open up the wcpuid.exe file. Do a file->save bitmap. Save the image someplace and attach it in your reply (there's an attachment ability on reply to message page).

Sorry about that was pretty tired when i posted last night. System specs are as follows.

Operating System - XP Home Edition
System Model - Optiplex GX270
Processor - Intel Pentium 4 2.80 GHZ
Ram - 511
Video Card - Nvidia Geforce FX 5200 128 MB
Sound Card - Creative SB Live!

I have been looking forward to EQ2 for sometime now. As the days tick down though, i am getting really urked that this system is not gonna play it :( . Any help is much appreciated.

Sincerely,

Serrath
