Sorry to post here, perhaps ive just missed it, but i couldnt find lavastorm on your POI selector list in the Submit POI interface.

My party found the "Language of Magic" shrine in Lavastorm while trying to get into Soulosek's eye.

To anyone unfamiliar, there are 4 tick boxes for the quest. And each box is associated with two zones in Norrath. Either of which COULD have the shrine at the time you go to look for it. (Time division and repop is unknown, but they are always in the same spots)

Well the double for Lavastorm is Everfrost, the everfrost one was previously found and posted on .. ogaming i think. but anyways...

POI type is loc, stationary quest object. but its kind of obscure and worth noting i think.

oh and on lavastorm. while there i had a map, though it was all black w/ my arrow riding the south edge.

while traveling north through the zone i finally entered my map screen and began opening up the fog though it was clearly inaccurate to begin with, and i was being displayed in patently improbably spots (middle of lava lakes, on mountainous ridges).

I was just wondering if you had the .. crap i dont even know what you've been calling them. the division lines for the map wrong. or if it was even one of your maps? seeing no mention of lavastorm in the POI thing makes me think you havent generated it yet. and i was actually on a garbage SoE concoction.

Um, also, what's your highest field tester? i saw someone mentioning runneyey and rivervale. Though id love to see maps of those for alts, im a bit above those areas. And i was wondering if the focus of your work is on your current char lvl. (as i imagine it would be) And what lvl that is.

Does Lavastorm have a N/S, /E/W, multiple floors, or is it all one map? As soon as I get this I can punch it in so POI's can be submitted for it. Also your last question was one for tony to answer, not I.

I havent been all over the map, and mine was innacurate as i said. But i think its all one map, at least the window just said "Lavastorm" not Lavastorm North or whatever.

It seemed to just be a mountain range w/ valleys you walk around in, with lava rivers and pools instead of water. There was a ramp or three over mountain bits, though i dont remember bridging over anything or tunnels. The zone in is at the south end, and you walk all north and up around a mountain range and back south. All of that to get to the most amazing thing ever, a teleporter. That once activated you can TP straight from a room off the zone in. Ill post that coord next time there.

But yes, it all seemed very straightforward except for the misplaced position arrow and fog removal.

Lavastorm is a SOE map and is well known for being totally broken. If we can get a clean image of that zone's map and have someone do a BFZ zonerect calculation on the zone, we could force a more accurate version of SOE's map to show.

Lavastorm is getting a new zonerect on Monday with the next update. This will fix the problems with that map. Check the test server patch notes for the announcement. :)
