Game crashes when opening new hotbar/journal...
 

I've been using Nedra 0.9 and Fenix Arcane V 6, and I really like them, but for some reason on both of them, everytime I open a new hotbar or try to open my quest journal, the entire game crashes...this does not happen with the default ui. What's wrong???

Note, they just started doing this, they were fine before.

Are you using the /loadui command? It's bugged and will cause the crashes.

how are you switching between the two?

Read the FAQ or the sticky in this forum or click the "how to install (faq)?" button on every download page right under the over sized download button. ;)

Even if you did make it flash, it wouldn't help.

I had the eq2.ini file in the wrong place...it's fixed now.

I didn't know the /loadui command was bugged...make that flash lol.

The button needs to be auto loaded whenever someone ask anything about their UI crashing. Have a query/macro running in background that triggers on "UI won't load" or "UI crashes" that way, the button POPS auto and the peeps can click it. BTW this refering to Dolby's comment above^

No promises yet (and no details since I've only just started this project) but I think I may have come up with a way to solve some of these issues. With luck I'll have a prototype in a couple days to show off. ;) Of course, it still relies on the user knowing enough to not use /loadui, but it should help once they've gotten that far. :)
