problem: Character Development & Alternate Advancements

I can't move the slider in the bar to convert experience into AA, neither can I change the percentage next to it. Everytime I want to click it, the complete box moves as to relocate ...
If I lock the window then nothing happens when I click on one of them ...
I tried to change my windows settings, but nothing helps
All the tree's to invest the aa points are working fine

I have this problem with all my characters.

I have done all updates (game and profit ui)

This is not a UI problem. It's how that slider and window behave when you're on a Free or Silver account (no paid subscription): the AA conversion slider is locked at 50% and cannot be changed. It's controlled by the game, and the only way to make the slider adjustable is to change to a paid Gold membership (via monthly subscription, krono or SC card).

Double-check. Remember that not only is the slider behavior controlled by the game, the AA window isn't modified by ProfitUI so you're seeing the default window provided by SOE. If the slider doesn't respond, it's because SOE's coded the client to disable and ignore the slider. Are you sure you're hitting the slider itself and not the "track" it runs in? Only the vertical slider bar responds, the track and the textbox with the numbers in it don't.

I checked it, but didn't find anything ...
then
I reinstalled the eq2 files and the problem was solved. Probably a corrupted file ...

thanks for the info
