test server client crashes
 

When I attempted to log into test server, my eq2 client crashes. Someone in game advised me that this has to do with Profit UI. Any ideas how to fix this????

Right now the test server UI files have a lot of changes to them that aren't reflected in Profit. I'm not sure Profit will work until Test settles down and I can merge the changes in, and you'd still have to manually copy the updated files because I'm fairly sure the changes will break Live if pushed before the updates to the game actually happen.

There are post on the eq2 forums about this and the fix that have been found for it.

1. Re-install Directx to fix client crashing as soon as you press the Play button on launchpad.

or

2. Re-name the file Journal.Active.xml if your having client crashing when trying to enter the game from the character select screen.

These "both" work as I've had to do both.
