Can't Collect Apprentice Recipe
 

For the last two days I've been unable to get my completed Tradeskill Apprentice recipes.

I click the Claim button, and nothing happens. Any ideas?

after picking up your recipe have you checked in your recipe book? Do a search for the one you were researching. Profit has no window modified that I am aware of for the researchers.

I have had no problems collecting apprentice recipes up through Profit. I have not tried to claim a finished recipe in the last two days.

I found this thread on the EQII forums. If that wasn't you posting over there, then you have the same problem.

It was me - clicking the window and moving it a bit did the trick.

Glad we could help. And you have helped me. Your experience has convinced me that I have a ghost window as well. I haven't been blocked from using other windows, but I have noticed mysterious window handles appear and disappear as the cursor moves across the screen. They don't appear to belong to anything that is visible when I hit F10. I'm still trying to figure out what the 'ghost window' is.

Argh, the problem is back - this time even in the Default UI. I /bugged it, and hopefully it will become more obvious what the issue is.

Before I tried the default UI, I moved the Profit window all over the screen to no avail - though there definitely is some sort of invisible window that I encountered a day or so ago.

The mystery deepens!

How big is the "mystery" window? If its a relatively small square, then it might be the streaming dragon window (the one that shows how much data is queued up to be streamed). I've had it in the past where even the non-streaming client can still have that window present but invisible and it could in theory be blocking things.

Can you right click the invisible window and get its options at all? IIRC the streaming window doesn't act like a normal window with the usual complement of options too, it just kind of sits there in the way.

Would the Plodasaurus window be present in a full-asset installation? That's the only way I work. I refuse to use the streaming client.

I'll have to see if I can get properties on the thing.
