Eq2maps Not working.
 

I am unsure with this error. It only started recently but when I try to start Eq2maps, Guildconnect or DarqUI Wondow Utility I get this error.

"A device attached to the system is not functioning."

Nothing has changed on my computer recently. I have all the same hardware installed. I had a virus that I got rid of with combofix but I can not verify if that was the cause.

Anyone with some suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

This isn't an issue with EQ2MAP; the fact it is occuring with several other web-related utilities points to an issue with your computer itself. The fact you have just removed a virus leads me to believe that it made some configuration changes that may be affecting your computer still.

Depending on your comfort level, your best bet is to investigate that specific error (google turns up a variety of things for it that you can try) and, if that fails, try a system restore, use a windows boot cd to do a "fix" or "repair" install, or reinstall windows.

Consider reinstalling .NET, as the device error can be the result of a bad (or virus-damaged) library. If you are using Windows 7, you will have .NET versions through 3.5 and possibly 4.0.
