Save a UI configuration
 

i was wondering how you save a ui configuration while using Profit UI.......i looked in the eq2 options but the only thing it appears that i can save are keyboard configs. I also opened the Profit UI options and I dont see any options for saving UI configurations.......I play several different classes and set up all my toons configs differently so i just wanted to ask if there was a way i could save a diff config for my various characters. any help would be appreciated :confused:

It's actually a standard EQ2 slash command:

/save_uisettings <filename>

To load a saved set,

/load_uisettings <filename> OR

/load_uisettings alone, which brings up the dialog to load a saved set.

The client uses the format

server_character_eq2_uisettings.xml

If you follow this when you save a set manually, it will appear in 'load settings' dialog.

You can put what you want for the server and character names, so you could save settings for a particular class by saying server_class_eq2_uisettings.xml
