Scroll window for assigning loot in raid

I don't know where this bug has been introduced, but last night in raid, it was next to impossible to assign drops to raid members. What appears to be happening is, while you drop down the dropbox to pick a player, if something happens in what looks to be any of your chat windows, the drop selector goes back to the top of the list. Not a big deal if your loot target is in the first 7 or so players, but after that it can get pretty damn annoying :)

Any thoughts?

Might try verifying if this happens in default as well. I changed nothing that should have affected any of that. The last time I messed with the chat windows was for the launch of SF and I am not sure what file the loot options would be in but I know it is not any of the ones I patched for AoD. If it is not in default (ie. a game bug) I will see what I can do to alleviate it. ;)

Yep.. I thought I would try that tonight. I don't think its a Profit bug, more then some SOE introduced alternate behavior. Something like that woulnd't normally be seen except in a raid setting. I'll post back results tomm. In the meantime, has anyone else noticed anything like this?

Please do. Like I said if it turns out to be profit I will do my best to fix it. If not and SoE doesn't get to it pretty quick I will see is I can get a workaround going.

Yep, I noticed this problem aswell today in raid, Have many people in the raid using different UI's including the default, the problem exists in all of them, its deffinately on SoE's end, and not ours.

Given the number of UI files in today's hotfix, I'd say they had more problems than just that. Let's hope they noticed and fixed this one.

Confirmed that this action happens also using the default UI. I believe then it should be happening no matter what UI is being used. I would expect that Drums, Fetish, and other popular UI's are experiencing the same issue. This is confirmed across several raiding guilds. Its def some kind of refresh issue that may or may not be related to the chat windows. I don't know if there is a work-around or even how you could duplicate it outside of a raid enviroment :)

Have at it! heheh

Thanks for the update. I'm assuming you did a /bug in game on it. Hopefully SoE will fix it.
