Threat Meter (Help)
 

I am having a problem getting the threat bar/meter to show, is there a hotkey that i should know to display this?

i haven't been in any group fights yet since i installed this since im a tank and really need to know how my aggro holding is at when i need to taunt ect....

still doesnt show up :( not to many options is there?

A couple of things come to mind. First, my memory is that the threat window hotkey is CTRL-T by default. I've never had a problem getting the threat window to pop with that. I think the setting will toggle whether you're in combat or not, but it's a lot easier to tell that it works when you toggle the setting while in combat. I have seen the window show up in odd places. It *might* be hidden under something else. It can be hard to track that down.

If it were me, I'd pick a fight with something that can't hurt me, and then ignore it while I played with windows. Hitting F10 once will highlight all windows so you can see them (also unlocks them temporarily as of a recent patch).

I am assuming you have the threat meter enabled..

ALT+O-press Advance (top right corner)-user Interface-Game windows

make sure you have always show threat window ticked.

If that still doesn't work

Press F10 make sure you are incombat and move your windows around as it may be behind them also make sure it isn't outside of the window same section as the threat meter just tick and un-tick that should pull it back if its off screen.

Failing that try a stand alone threat meter if that works then you may need to re-load profit .

hhmm..... when i press f10 i don't get a group window or raid window either must i be in one of these for the threat meter to show?

group window doesn't show unless your in a group and ALT-R or CTRL-R (its nearly 3am so its either one of those commands) to show the raid window.

No you should be able to see it solo as well as in a group or raid.

woot your awesome it works now!!! if i can now figure out how to keep the threat bar there i do have the always show threat meter checked off but its w/e cuz it shows up in combat now thank very much, i wont be nervous to go grouping again.:D:D:D

Glad it's sorted and best way is just lock it you can do it 2 ways

1. Open options-press the Advance Tab-User Interface-Game Windows and make sure the Lock all windows is ticked

or

2.When you are in combat right click on the Threat Meter-Window Settings -Lock Window

Either way works on all windows.
