Broken links error?
 

Half of the links that have been linked in the chat window havnt shown up. WHat am i doing wrong? Im assuming user error on my part

This wouldn't be related to my UI. It's possible the links were bad, or you just needed to relog.

Im not the only person using ur ui that had this issue. Other guild members said links were good. I was just wondering if anyone else had this issue?

There may be some transparent part of the UI overlaying the chat window, and depending where the links show up in the chat window that may prevent you clicking them since you are clicking the transparent UI window instead. That's about the only way the UI can interfere with links, once they are clicked it's up to the client to deal with them.

You can try to hit F10 to check if there are such invisible UI windows (only works if they have a background element, however), or wait until next time you cannot click a link, then either scroll it around in your chat window or move your chat window and see if it starts working.

This issue is not related to any UI mods in particular, from what I can tell. I use a handful of mods (most of them being DrumsUI pieces, just for the record), none of which have any effect on the chat window, but I still have a similar problem with some links not working (both my own links as well as links from other players). I also have a few guildmates that have the same issue (I'll admit, though, I do not know if or what UI mods they use). We have just chalked it up to a server-side issue that SOE needs to address. Perhaps if enough people /bug it, it will get fixed.
