Hotbars shrinking ( Fortress of Rime : Ascent )
 

for the past 3 weeks i have been experiencing issues with my hotbars after the video plays in Fortress of Rime : Ascent. I have created a thread on this on EQ2forums and was asked to bug this with profit as they are checking on things on their end.

Will look into it although I sincerely doubt it is profit related.

It's not. It's happening to people using the default UI.

Thanks for the confirmation. I tried to reproduce it and couldn't but that is not always a guarantee.

The best fix I know of for this is to /load_uisettings and pick the character you are currently playing. It'll snap those hotbars back into normality. Unfortunately, I dunno why this is happening.

Thanks to the quick response. Still wondering why its happening to me when i use profit as someone else said it happens to those running default ui.

What he meant was it was also happening to those running default but not only to them. Which means game issue instead of ui issue.

Happens when using Drusm hotbars too...i think it's universal

It seems to be random on an account basis. For me it's always the group window disappearing, doesn't matter which character I take through there. For a friend her group window's fine but one of her hotbars always resizes. Again it doesn't matter which character she uses. It always seems to be one window, but which window varies from person to person. Which is weird, if it were UI-settings-related I'd expect it to vary from one character to another.

Most people use the same settings for all characters though.

Happens to me as well. Reloading my UI fixes it, as will getting into combat mode prior to the cut scene. Those are the only two workarounds I know of just now.
