Crashing on character login.
 

I installed ProfitUI and did everything it said to do, then logged into my character menu, and could see that it changed it. but when i log onto one of my characters, it crashes. any clue what's wrong?

A corrupted or patial install of an UI can cause that. Delete the profitui folder and then set it up again.

Didn't fix anything, still the same thing. :(

Delete the profitui folder and then without resetting it up try to log in to see if it is game related.

Wait, do you mean i go to the character menu, delete the profitui folder, and then log in a character? or do i just delete the profitui folder and reset EQ2 and try that?

Option 2. ;)

Explanation: Changes you make to the ui do not show until you reload the game. Once the game is loaded you can delete the folder and still have the ui because the client loads it into memory on launch.

I've done that twice already, nothing works :(

Delete the eq2.ini file in your eq2 directory. If it still does not work it is not a ui problem it is a game problem.
