File Error
 

Failed to Save config file:
Access to the path 'C:\Program Files (x86)\EQ2MAPUpdater\eq2map|config.cfg' is denied.

Was wondering how I could go about fixing that?


Also when I use just the straight launchpad.exe to try to get everquest booted it just freezes up when starting. Now I must go directly to eq2.exe to get on.? Didn't start til after i installed the eq2maps.

Run the EQ2MAP updater as an admin.

As for it freezing... Launchpad.exe should be a completely different patcher than eq2.exe. Everquest2.exe is the actual game file (that skips the patcher). An old style patcher (like on the original game discs) is EQ2.exe and an install of that should not have a Launchpad.exe. If you have both in one install (in the same folder) that might be your issue unless their Station launcher does that for some reason. (I don't use the station launcher so I don't know the exact details of it, but to my knowledge it installs the launchpad in a completely separate folder).
