Can't Get Stat Bar to Work
I wanted to install just the stat bar/start button bar but I am unbale to get it to work. I followed all the directions carefully and I still get the standard SOE layout.
It works when I install the full interface but I don't want the full interface -- I only want the Stat Bar., Personna Window and Hot bars. Can you help please. |
Try issuing this command in-game:
/show_window MainHUD.StartButton Capital letters are important. |
Typed as you said and nothing happens.

1. Since you're using the individual downloads, do you have your Persona and Hotbar windows installed successfully?
2. Does a stand EQ2 button window appear anywhere? (The EQII button) Need as much info as possible to help ya here. |
I thought I would do the one at a time - get one working and then install the other.
Everything on my screen looks just as if I had not installed anythihg. I Have EQ2maps installed and that works fine. Everything else is the original EQ2 interface |
It sounds as if you may be placing the files into the wrong directory.

On the subject of the stat bar - is there any way we can get AE auto added to it? I'd like to be able to glance at the bar and see when my AE auto proc is up.

Perhaps your eq2.ini file is not set correctly.
If you have installed eq2maps successfully, it should be set to that folder. You can just unzip the DrumsUI pieces to that folder and use that as your "custom ui" folder. |

This is the contents of my EQ2.ini file cl_ui_skinname DrumsUI cl_ui_subdir UI/ # Enable Anti-Aliasing support (enable here, then set via your graphics card driver) #r_aa_blit 1 # Allow the possibility to have chat channels in more than one tab/window #chat_allowduplicatechannels 1 #To force EQ2 to listen to your custom cl_screenwidth and cl_screenheight parameters #cl_validate_resolution false #EQ2 automatically reduces texture quality if your system's memory is used up, resulting in washed out icons and character graphics, for example. With this command you can disable that behaviour. Would be better to just get more memory though, it's cheap these days. #disable_auto_low_mem_mode 1 |
SOE bar? which do you mean by that? Can you possibly post a screenshot of what you're seeing?

Do I need to replace with your AA/XP Bar? |
Oh, yes. That's the XP bar. If you want the DrumsUI one then yes you'll need to grab that one as well.
