Comprehensive Display Option Command and Data Values.
During the course of my current project I have put together this table. I'm sure it will be added to and modified as I discover erros.
It's the command and value for each of the uptions under the Display Tab of the StartButton. I'm sure there are going to be a few descrepencies in the range values for a couple of these, that I have not been able to test fully. But if you stay within the min-max values you should not have any problems. I would say another day or so and I'll have a Beta Ready mod that will allow for quick change between the 7 pre-define performance profiles, or, for the tweakers, you will be able to go int and edit my XML and make it 7 'CUSTOM' profiles. Yep, that's right. 7 'CUSTOM' profiles for your graphics needs. Need an instant FPS boost during that laggy battle in the dungeo, just hit the appropriate button, and watch your FPS go up. OK, So this is a better way to view the table. The Doc I have attached can be taken into exel or something if you want. For view purposes though click this site. I can't do anything with this post since html is turned off. It won't even let me put a link in here. DispayCommands http://www.geocities.com/ziggy_bock_...yCommands.html |
SideBySide
Here is a side by side comparison of the eq2.recent.ini file.
The Changes were made going from Extreme Quality to Extreme Performance, and recording the changes made in the eq2.recent.ini file. You will notice a few holes in the table. These are due to one of two things. If the data is at a 'default' state it will not report in the eq2.recent.ini file. For example. r_underwaterdistortion true will only show up in the eq2.recent.ini file if you have that selected. http://www.geocities.com/ziggy_bock_...SideBySide.htm |

The problem is that fact that you have to double click the buttons the first time to get them to work. The only way I've found to get around that is to put the command in twice, and I KNOW that has to be wrong, but for the life of my I have no idea what I am missing. I'm thinking that the value has to be defined, and then set? Like the way that the mute, button code is written for his mod, and my changes, it's naming the variable, and then settings the variable with the second command. I'm kinda lost on that. I stayed up WAY to late last night, But I finally have all the data I need, I just need to know how to code it 'correctly' I've gotten the buttons to work but only with running the commands twice on the OnPress. That just can't be right. |
Any help would be appreciated, please check this thread for the details.
