a more cleric friendly grp window
is it possible to have a group bar that includes the player in the group window area?
my problem is this, i have to be able to quickly target everyone in the group for heals, but if i want to heal myself i have to either make a macro for the heal spell to target me and then heal, or move my mouse up to hit my player window to get myself targeted i wish i could get a group window that i could click on everyone including myself. secondly, lol, a group window that has clear, easy to see icons or words saying what curse players in the grp have on them, ie: arcane, noxious, elemental. most of the grp windows ive tried are hard to read at 1280x1024, maybe words? or like a big N or a big A, E for what curse the player needs cured ? thanks, Laotin, Clerical Officer of Exile Befallen Server |

when the group window dynamicdata stuff works, (its in gamedata.xml but doesnt work yet) i'll have a window where you can target everyone and have ANED for the effects. till then, maybe a playerwindow/group window mode can make the f1 spot clickable..

depechenode- yeah, i use F1, F2, etc for targeting alot, but to be honest i play, and have always played my healers by mouse (cleric/rog/shammy on EQ1 for 5years) i just thought there could be something done to make a custom one to cater to ppl that like to use the mouse and dont want to fly all over the screen. in a dream world i would just have a chat box and a grp window where i could target my players, spells, see cures clearly, small line for my stats, mob target, implied, a tiny compass, and a itty bitty box to click for my quest menu. that way i wouldnt have to have my screen all cluddered up :)
insomniac - thanks, the game has limits i guess, lol. but thanks for the replies, till then ill manage iam sure. thanks guys. -Laotin, Clericial Officer of Exile Befallen Server |
Anyone know if they did or if they did not get around to adding that in the recent "big" patch? The group stuff and such (oh and heading, too)
