Interesting feature/bug with raid window
 

ok i updated drumsui around 5pm cst today useing the auto updater.

and i noticed something was different about my raid window.

Any time i had someone in the raidwindow moused over and hit my enter key the #1 skill in the 5x click to use ability would cast on my mouse over target.

is this a bug?

if it is... this is so so very close to a requested feature people have been asking for called hovercast.

Is there a way to rebind it so instead of hitting enter i would just press 1 on my keyboard?

Is there a way to make it so it does the same with my other x5 clicks as well?

It's a partial bug. The UI allows for buttons to be assigned as "default" which allows the Enter key to trigger them. Since my raid/group windows only use 1 set of five buttons that move around depending on where the mouse is, it allows for this bug to actually cast on the correct person (rather than default to player 1 button 1).

It is unintentional, was fixed from the group window (I think), but apparently left over in the raid window. There's no way to bind the buttons to other keys, though this could allow for a 6th button to exist, and not have to be visible. But it would take code additions to allow for this.

and thats sad to hear that it cant be made to work like a Hovercast type ui mod.

If Sony cared a little bit more about their UI features for this game and had some more time set aside for things such as this, it wouldn't be such a sad situation.
