haveing problem's
 

I'm haveing problems not sure what I have done wrong I have read the troubleshooting but when I click on the short cut on desktop it wants me to select everquest2.exe file that I can't find. after a little digging I came up with this .Error Opening Database File: mscorlib

at System.IO.Directory.InternalCreateDirectory(String fullPath, String path, DirectorySecurity dirSecurity)
at System.IO.Directory.CreateDirectory(String path, DirectorySecurity directorySecurity)
at EQ2MAPUpdater.MainWindow.DownloadUpdates()Access to the path 'C:\Program Files (x86)\EQ2MAP Updater\cache\' is denied.

any help would be great.

Issue #1 in the "common issues" thread stickied for your convenience: Run it as an admin.

I have been trying to run as admin. but i'm still missing the file everquest2.exe

Right click the icon you use to run eq2. choose properties. Copy the text in working directory. That is where eq2 is installed. Launch eq2maps updater. When it asks for the path paste the copied path in. Select everquest2.exe. Done.
