Mini Map after update
 

Noticed you did a few tweaks to the mini map,I now have a 2-3 mil gap between bottom of screen and bottom of the map as i have my map on the bottom of my screen in the right hand corner. It fits fine if I move the mini map up to the top but then i'll have to re-arrange everything :rolleyes: any chance you can make it a tight fit as it used to be before the update.

The gap is because of a file in eq2maps, if we are referring to the same thing. I have posted about it and they said they will get it updated as soon as they can. If that does not fix it I certainly will make whatever changes need to be done.

Map still will not site flush to bottom of the screen as it used to and it seems that the mouse arrow goes to the resize icon about 1inch away from the bottom of the edge of the mini map.
Do i have to remove the ignore file that you put in place a while ago ?

Tried removing the ignore doesnt help

The picture with the white area doesn't cause any issue but thought id show it in case its related. The hotbar that is close to the map is just a distance marker as the mouse Icon doesn't show when taking a screen shot

I wish I was seeing what you are...then I could work on it. I attached 3 screenshots of my setup. The first is my normal setup. The second is with map moved to bottom...no gap. The 3rd is with f10 pressed once...which would show that invisible portion in black if it was present on my system. I tried to get a 4th but the mouse cursor does not show in screenshots so it was pointless.

Edit: it also shows the quest helper without a frame...I normally have it showing but I had tested that file earlier and not reverted yet.

Well am at a loss like the Active quest helper both were fine before the tweaks and now they are not :confused:

The white area doesn't show up when I press F10 which I thought was weird,as I know sometimes you can sort the issue out,The map fits just fine on top of my screen,just not on the bottom lol

Maybe you could be kind enough to link the old mini map file and ill see if that works as well ?

Am confused as much as you are considering I even did a whole clean install of profit,which should of sorted any corrupted files out..been using profit for years and never had any thing this weird before.

Well Donno what happened I was in SF doing some harvesting and get booted to char select which has happened a few times recently for some reason..anyways had to re-start eq2 and the map is fine fits nice and flush and can change the size on the edge of the map as it should be.Now the thing I don't understand is I re-started the game 6 times before I did those screen shots as I was trying out the variant's sooo maybe there are some gremlin's around so beware....

Acctually Tal tal, you seem to be having the same problem.

The bottom bar is not the bottom of the screen.

In your second pricture, if you have pushed the map to the bottom of the screen then there is a gap the width of the bottom bar.

You can see this more clearly by moving the mini-map to the center of the screen and then: move the mouse cursor to the center of the map and slowly move it down to the bottom of the map (past the frame) until you see the cursor change to the double arrow used to resize the map from the quad arrow used to move the map.

Depending on the size of the screen and resolution you are using, this gap was show differently for diffent people, mine shows as the width of the bottom bar also.

Nope. Put it there on purpose...I use 1920x1080 also. Here is a screen shot with it at the true bottom.

When I mouse over it it flips to the resize cursor right at the line for the frame. Just can't figure out how to take a screen shot with the cursor showing.

I have a file from eq2maps ignored, on the eq2maps updater, should I accept that file, and make sure I run profit updater after?

delete eq2ui_mainhud_map2 out of your profitui directory and then run the eq2maps updater. That should replace the problem file.

I manually deleted the eq2ui_mainhud_map2 from the ProfitUI directory and ran the EQ2Map updater. EQ2Map does copy down a fresh file, however the next time ProfitUI Updater is run it also wants to download eq2ui_mainhud_map2.

Who, ProfitUI or EQ2Map, is providing the correct version of the file?

eq2maps. It should not be on the profit updater and will be removed in the very near future. I inadvertantly uploaded it with my last set of changes.
