Top bar on quest helper gone after update.

I know this is trivial but bar isnt showing as before and if you change to frame and title then opacity you get the whole box showing not just the bar at top

I can remove the frame completely. Are there a bunch of users that would rather not see it? I always keep it on as a personal preference...and I do not think there is a way to show the titlebar without the frame...unless the title bar isn't actually a titlebar like I had it before.

not seeing this issue, I see the top bar of the quest helper window, and I don't have the frame showing.

Settings are:

Frame Only

Window sliders all the way to the right

Frame and backdrop sliders all the way to the left


and No, please don't change it

I don't mind having the frame around the window when the titlebar's on. It actually makes it a bit clearer where the text scroll ends, and it's not in the way of anything up in the top-right corner like I have it.

I think I know what he means:

Try setting the transparency, and make sure that frame and title bar are chosen. However, Tal is there a way to remove the frame, but leave the title bar? Or possibly get a top bar that stretches all the way across?

I'll see if I can get a no-frame variant added to the updater.

You didn't try Frame Only, with the bottom 4 sliders, all the way to the left. that is the way mine is setup and I have no frame, and I have a title bar.

Actually I did, I just didnt post it. No matter what variation you use Titlebar/Frame are both on the same setting.

I have made a variant for no frame but titlebar showing. It is now on the updater. It is under quest journal - active no frame.

have tried both options and can not get just the title bar to show :s anyway I can have the file that was used before the new one was pushed to the updater please so I can revert back to having a title bar only ..allso did a post about the mini map to.

On a side note is there a way we can see what the updates actually do before we download them?.Only see what was done after this.

Are you sure you tried the no frame variant. In that one there is no code for a frame. It should not be possible to have one.

Edit: Just downloaded the no-frame variant from the patcher and it does indeed have the titlebar but no frame.

yeah tried both Variants and i can have both or just the frame but no title bar :confused: Ill delete the file and re-download and see what happens

I deleted the file and re-run the updater tried both variants and neither will just give me the title bar only what ever setting I do...

Can It be possible for me to have the file that was there before the updated one as that worked fine.

Here you go. I have tested the files on the updater multiple times now and they work...don't know why you are having issues.

Great thanks tons works fine so got no clue what was wrong ,I even Deleted profit and re-installed and was still the same.

When you tried the variants, did you make sure the one you want is highlighted in green, not just selected. You have to double click on the variant you want, and it will highlight in green before it will acctually download.
