UI not working since last weekend
 

Since the last patch with ProfitUI updater my EQ completely went nuts.
The UI itself was completely gone, only the original eq UI remained though all files were still present. Furthermore EQ stopped recording logs, what even can't be helped by typing /log, it just doesn't create new files, which annoys me even more since ACT isn't working. Eq2maps doesn't work too, it's just as if i had never installed it.

I tried the suggested clean install and removed all files but it was in vain, installing another UI didn't have any impact as well, so i'm pretty clueless what to do now. Anyone has ideas or solutions?

You have multiple eq2 installations. You are launching the new one but installing everything in the old one.

If you have a short cut on your desktop right click and look in properties and see where it's path is and hopefully that will point you in the right direction and sort this issue out.
As for the logs cant answer that unless some file has been corrupted or removed in error ,un-installing profit wouldn't effect that.

Profit would not affect the logs. But 2 installations would. They are simply being saved in the other installations log folder. 2 Installations explains each issue he mentioned.

Thank you, guys, it's really almost as you described it.

I really found a second installation though i can't yet imagine why there is one. It's been installed to documents and settings (wtf) and the different logs are there too. The problem is though, that i still play the "old version", but the logs and UIsettings seem to refer only to the new one.
My first attempt was to start the new installation, but I got the massage that the client version is too old. So i tried to find the Launcher, but there is no Launcher, Setup files or aynthing like this, the installation is incomplete concerning these factors.
Is there a way to fix this or am i supposed to reinstall everything?
Gonna try myself, but I'd like to have your opinion on this.
