Cant Get Profit Click-to-Cure to work
 

I have a level 20 warden. I got the spell id for Cure and pasted it into cures.txt (I think it was correct in the first place, however). When I click on one of the icons, instead of casting, I get a message "That Spell or Ability is No Longer Available" However, when I click on the spell in my hotbar, it does cast.

I can't figure out why it's not working. The only thing I changed is the text in the macro (which does work) and the spell id, which I got from the instructions (drag the spell from the spellbook to the chat with logging enabled etc.).

I'm stumped...any help would be appreciated.

Just run the updater again and it should replace the cures.txt file. All the cures on the warden are already set to lvl 90 so no need to change them. The one thing you can do once you get your group cure is modify that file(cures.txt) with a group tell, and possibly a raid tell so that other healers know that your are clearing the detrimental, but that is for future use. You can find directions on how to do that and other things in the offical ProfitUI thread.

I have sorta the same problem. I found that alt-enter lets it work again until I zone. Very frustrating. I've uninstalled Profit UI and installed catalyst, ran the updater and still same issue.

I've had something similar happen after going link-dead and being automatically rejoined to the group when I log back in. At the same time my quest journal's usually messed up, showing the quests for another party member. I'm wondering if the automatic rejoin-group/raid code's causing problems with the UI?

You shouldn't need to touch cures.txt to modify spell IDs. They're already correct for all classes and levels, as far as I know (the basic Cure ability, for instance, doesn't get upgraded, it just levels with you, so there's only one spell ID for it).

Have actually found that when soe introduced this auto group thing when you ld or crash it seems to bug out the UI, so have to log out to desktop and re-start game thought it was just a one of but few other peeps in my guild have had same issues and my gf uses fetish and has happened to her now and then.It doesnt happen every time for me .
