New to Profit questions
 

Hi, Ive got installed profit and there was a few things I cant seem to figure out. First off my chat window scroll bar is gone and I cant find a way to get it back. Also the maintained spell window wont allow me to turn off the text.

Ive read some of the faq and will continue to read it but was wondering if there was a text file I can read that will help me go over the options.

Hey, found the scroll bar. It was on the other side of the window and unless I stopped my mouse right on top of it, I couldnt see it.

Yes, the scroll bar hides when the mouse isn't over it. As for the maintained window, go into the updater, the Settings menu, Variants. Up at the top's a pull-down, you might have to scroll a bit but there's a Maintained Window entry. There's a number of variants you can select, both left- and right-aligned. It sounds like you might want the Duration Only one, that one packs the icons into the window with no text and puts the duration or procs remaining number on top of the icon itself. There's variants for a number of different windows. It's also where you can select the skin (background color and pattern) for the UI itself.

Ok, I changed it in the updater but I still have text in the maintained window. Is there anything else I need to do to make the change work?

Make sure you double-clicked on the variant you wanted and that it's highlighted in green. NB: I think only the two duration-only variants completely lack text, the slim ones still contain some text.
