maintained spells window
 

I'm not sure whether this is profit related or SOE related, but posting here in the hope of getting an answer one way or the other.

Since GU58 and the profit patch that went with it my maintained windows bar will not show 2 columns of icons, which is the way I had it set up previously. No matter how wide I make the window the icons will not "wrap" to the 2nd column.

Any ideas?

It is Profit related. I made a change to the type of container it was in to add future functionality. Here is the old window style if you would prefer to use that.

Ah - just tried using the old window and it is not compatible with the client.

Guess I'll have to live with left aligned for now.

This one should be just like the old one...but compatible. I forgot about the version change but made it to this file so the game would accept it. Hope this helps.

Is there something else that needs to be done aside from overwriting the new file with the one in this thread?

I have done that and still the window is not 'wrapping' as it used to? I also get a corrupt launcher message since over writing the file is that related?

Any chance for an update to the maintained window options? I would like to get my right side slim back. or just the right side anyway, can do without the slim.

Sorry to have not responded sooner. I did not notice your post until today. The corrupt patcher message has nothing to do with this change.

Sorry about the delay. The changes I had planned to make to the maintained window to eliminate the necessity for variants proved unworkable. I will be posting an update in the near future that will make the old version a variant. As for teh right aligned slim variant is that not available on the variants list any longer? I do not remember removing it.

Well before the update, there used to be a lot of zipped folders with different files for different window designs etc, then after the game update the different files like the right side slim didn't work anymore.


Since then I have reinstalled the game and profit for other reasons, and now those zipped folders don't even exist anymore. I assumed it was cause they don't work anyway.


I still have the old files backed up. but yeah they still don't work. Hope this all helps :)

I might have to add the version number to all the variants to make them function again. Will look into it when I get back from christmas vacation. Expect to see something tuesday afternoon.

Sorry I did not post an update. The right slim variant functions as expected for me. I just downloaded it from the patcher yesterday. There is no need for an update to it. I have not checked the other variants yet.

The zip files only download if you are using the variants. So since you have no zips you do not have the variant selected on the patcher. To select them go to the variants menu...select maintained window from the dropdown find right aligned slim and double clikc it. It should turn green. Accept it and you will be using it. You will also see the zip in your profitui directory from that point.
