game crashes
 

Got a thread started in "Help?!?" on main forums:

"Hey, im not sure if there is another thread for this, but i didn't to make another.

When loading up my game, im able to log in with the new patch, BUT as soon as i click ANYTHING the game will crash.

People in game have said that you have released a patch to fix this, but i can not locate it.

I removed the Profit UI folder from EQ2 UI file and game starts fine. This is AFTER i updated Profit UI. Any input?

If it is still crashing you did not put the update in the right place. It extracts to your everquest ii directory.

same problem here and with 2 of my friends who use profit.

When you say you did not put the update in the right place what do you mean?

For me, all the profit update did was install a new eq2.ini, and I still have the crash problem.

Where do I find this update to download it?

seeing as i have been useing Auto updater since the 1st launch of auto update i cant remember whereto load the files manuanly if you can either post the how or the link its it posted some where else thanks

I am having the same problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am also having the exact same problem. I doubt it is all of us not putting it in the corect place.

I manually updated it, and cannot play still.

Download the zip file attached to the bottom of the post.

Close EqII

Extract the zip file to your everquestii directory, wherever that is for you.

It should replace about 10 files.

Launch eqii.

Also while I was working on this on test server the game did not crash if you were using an old version of the persona window so I thought most people would just be missing two tabs until it could get to the autoupdater.

There was a post in the official forums about a client crash due to missing currency and mount tabs. They were going to do a fix sometime today for it. So it may not be entirely a ProfitUI problem.

Thanks to Kaldran the Profit Autoupdater now has the current files. You no longer need to use the manual update.
