Click to cure / click to heal ( Raidwindow )

Anyone know why the raidwindow is messing up when you are doing BG ?
Im using profit and have run the latest update :/

It is a bug with dynamic data that happens when camping between characters. Transferring to battlegrounds does essentially the same thing. I have no idea of how to fix it or if a fix is even possible.

If you go linkdead or do BG and forget to relog you can do this to fix them
and dont have to relog anymore.

Create a macro and add a command. Enter the following text:
/show_window Custom.ProfitUI_SubClassDetector

Thank you. I did not know that would update it. I might add that somewhere so it will auto do it periodically.

it does not update it, I believe the game bug was that the window actually got unloaded hence that fix

Nikar 08-24-2010 09:15 PM

Thats correct. So i log into BG hit the macro then when i log back to live i hit the macro things work both ways then.

Is there a way to load that window automaticly each time to log over (BG/Live/LD) without loging completely out? Would solve the quick button problems.

My immediate idea would be to always reload the window OnHide of the zoning window and/or OnShow/OnHide of those BG/Live windows. I don't think I ever went LD short of a client crash so I don't actually know what happens there. But Silat or someone else will have to figure that all out anyway. edit: Of course if nothing else helps you could also just reload the window OnHoverIn of group, player and raid windows - the command will just fail most of the time so wasted CPU cycles will be pretty minimal.

I've made the edit to the zoning window that gm9 suggested locally and if it seems to work as intended I will post it in the near future.

I don't actually do coding so I'm unaware of the accuracy of this, but I figured I'd mention it in case it is true. Someone on my guild forum posted the /show_window Custom.ProfitUI_SubClassDetector fix a couple of days ago. When telling people to make a macro they also mentioned it only will work if the cures are glitched and that if you use the macro more than once, then it breaks it permanently until you logout and back in.

/show_window Custom.ProfitUI_SubClassDetector

Doesnt work for me :( to bad

I just ran that command 5 times in a row and it didn't break the cures or code so no idea why it would for some. The command simply reloads the window.

then try this > after it gets bugs (like in BG) in a raid grp use the macro then
have u'r RL move u to a diffrent grp > that is always bugs the click-to-cure
and at that point if u already used the macro once it will not work again,
this has happened to me so many times i lost count :(

TalTal 08-25-2010 05:07 PM

I tried the onHide for zoning window. It fixed it coming back from battlegrounds multiple times but never going there. I am going to pursue other options assuming it does not bug on multiple uses. Can one of you raiders test the problem mentioned prior to this post and let me know if it happens to more than one person?
